Brief Answer:
Nasal blockage

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have seen both xrays. The adenoids tissue has significantly reduced. The air passage is open now. If still there is difficulty in nasal breathing, put a decongestant nasal drops three times a day for a week and observe. Put the child to habit for nasal breathing by actively closing the mouth.
Another cause may be a nasal blockage. so you should get a x-ray paranasal sinuses done.

Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care.
Thanks and regards

Hello Madam
some query from side:
1. can the adenoids surgery done successfully or some more improvement surgery can be done to remove adenoids completely.

2. which nasal drop given name pls.

how much % adenoids removed by surgery and what % it remains.

3. Now post surgery as u have seen xray film is it quite right to leave the child in the same condition for whole age with these adenoids.

4. what could be done better at the time of surgery so that it would completely removed.

Brief Answer:
Nasal blockage

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

There is some adenoid tissue still there. It is advisable to first use some decongestant nasal drops like xylometazoline nasal drops three times a day for a week. See the response. It will help to decongestant the tissue. If the child is asymptomatic than nothing else is required but if there is some nasal blockage than it must be investigated.

An endoscopic examination is done intra operatively to see if the tissue is completely removed or not. The treatment will depend on the reports.

Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care.
Thanks and regards
