Could Starting On A Birth Control Pill Four Days Before My Period Due Date Lead To Delayed Periods?
Question: I started the pill again but I started four days before my period was due. I am now two weeks late. Could starting the pill cause that?
Brief Answer:
Delay is due to the pill.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The pill is usually started after the periods. Since you have started the pill just before your periods were due, your periods are delayed. You will get the periods once you finish first 21 pills.
I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
