Could The Spasms Be Simply Muscle Related Or Should I Be Concerned About More Serious Issues Like PE?

Question: I have been experiencing random muscle cramps for the past week or so. I have had a strange muscle cramp in the lower back of my right shoulder. The pain lasted for a few seconds and feels like it went through to right side of chest. It feels fine now. My pulse, blood pressure and O2 are normal. Could the spasms be simply muscle related or should I be concerned about more serious issues like PE?

Brief Answer:
Less likely PE

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

As you explain the situation taking in account your age PE is less likely. Usually we suspect PE in patients having sudden breathlessness .Pain is not a usual sign of PE. If the pain would be from the lung problems that it would be continuous and sharp. And even more if the oxygen and blood pressure are normal than PE is mostly excluded.
So i strongly think that it is a muscle one which needs painkillers if it repeats again.

Hope to have been helpful
