Question: Hi,
I am 37 years old. I am getting hip and back pain in sleep. Its like more on side if i sleep on side and on lower and some times upper if i back if i sleep on back. my D vitamin level is 23. i had checked kidney, liver using usg scan and blood tests last time in 2018 and everything was normal. due to corona in recent times i am not going for tests. My father had pkd.
My pains could be becz of pkd or any liver problem?

Brief Answer:
Musculoskeletal causes are possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The symptoms are more likely due to musculoskeletal causes and unlikely related to kidney or abdominal causes.
Conditions like myalgia or disc prolapse are possible causes. Unwanted anxiety may aggravate the symptoms.
You can try hot compresses and over the counter available analgesic and creams for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist you XXXXXXX consult an orthopaedic and get evaluated.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
An MRI spine will be helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Unlikely related to abdominal causes.
It is better to get an MRI spine.
Analgesics can be tried based on your symptoms and severity of the pain. Analgesics like gabapentin will be very effective. However you have to consult a physician and proper prescription is required to get the drugs.
Thanks

I will definitely consult a doctor.
I just wanted to rule.out the cause of kidney or.liver issues as it increases tension.
If it is due to spine or muscle issues i will go to doctor.
