Could You Clarify What This Would Mean And What Are The Implications Of This?

Question: Hello
I would like to understand some of the findings from recent annual heal checkup. Could you help ?
Specifically on the results in 'RBC AND PLATELET INDICES' which are out of normal range and also about ESR.
Could you clarify what this would mean and what are the implications of this? Any precautions to be taken here? thanks

Brief Answer:
It could mean iron deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome here,
I have gone through the reports. It is mostly a normal report. The near-normal hemoglobin and RBC indices indicate iron deficiency but no anemia and iron supplements can be taken. Platelets are normal.
ESR is raised and is a non-specific indicator of some inflammation in the body. It needs to be corelated with clinical symptoms of any redness or swelling. You may take precautions to avoid any water or air pollution e.g drink cleaner water and avoid dusty areas.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
