Question: i have 2-3 hard cyst on my chest, could you please tell how to get it removed? Have one more on shoulder too. They do not have water or pus.
Hello
Thanks for the query and photographs.
These are keloid, an overgrowth of fibrous tissue.
You can apply a steroid cream such as ointment mometasone daily in night for a month.
This should give you relief.
If there is no response then Injection Kenacort given locally will reduce it.
You can meet a dermatologist for the same however you can try the cream first.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you

I do have another problem where my face has multiple breakouts, i was using salicyclic acid facewash and polyhydroxy toner and after that niaccinamide 5% serum since i had visible large pores but i don't see any improvement plus i got these small small red bumps all over my forehead and my side cheek area beside eyes.

Brief Answer:
Clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
Acne is more of a lifestyle disease.
Your face must be oily and hence it is leading to blockade of sebaceous glands leading to acne.
Use the following
1. Clindamycin 1 % gel in morning
2. Benzoyl peroxide 2.5 % gel in night
3. Use a salicylic acid or glycolic acid based face wash which you are already using.
4. Use a water based sunscreen such as suncot gel.
All the above medication to be used for at least three months.
These are safe and effective and usually available over the counter.
You must reduce oil intake in diet to control acne. Wash your face at least three times in a day.
Reduce intake of food with high glycemic index such as chips and bakery products.
Drink lot of water and increase intake of fiber rich diet.
These might appear to be a general advice but actually these are going to help you.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
