Detailed answer below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Afsheenpathan2gether,
Thanks for the query.
I understand your concern.

The curdy white discharge from the vagina is typical of Trichimonal vaginal infection. It's a fungal /It could yeast infection with itching,pain&discharge...this is due to bad genital hygiene. infection, mostly caught via sex with a patient.

There are specific drugs available for such discharge. Mostly the treatment is to be taken by both sex partners.
Maintaining good genital hygiene&avoiding sex till full recovery is important.

Local ointments like Candid vaginal tablets for women & ointments for men can be started before you approach a gynecologist.

After examining you &confirming the infection mostly Metranidozole/Flucanozol pills are prescribed for both sex partners. The dosage depends on the severity & extent of infection.

In this context, I would advise starting with personal care&visit a gynecologist for a specific treatment plan.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Mem can get symptoms later.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Afsheenpathan2gether,
Thanks for the follow up query.
Your symptoms clearly indicate fungal infection.from the description of discharge(curdy white)..I suggested trichomoniasis. In the begining...mostly ladies are the sufferers, because of the typical moist/damp anatomy, the fungi grow faster &give symptoms...while male have it in the body to show the symptoms(itching, white deposits on genital)later.
As told earlier it can be yeast infection...if the symptoms are only in one partner to start with..
followed by infection of spouce later.
Vaginal swab culture test only would confirm the type...but experienced doctor can judge it while local examination.
To conclude....both of you should get examined&then treated together...to incur complete resolution of problem.
Thanks.
