Hello and thank you for trusting me with your health related question.

I understand your concern. From your question I am assuming that you have already been diagnosed with high blood sugar, but I would like to know whether it was borderline or full on Diabetes?
If you have been diagnosed with Diabetes, what medication are you on? Do you feel the medication is not effective in keeping your blood sugar levels within the norm?

If you have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes (borderline high sugar level), there are many effective ways on to reverse the condition and keep your blood glucose down.

Change in lifestyle is imperative and consists in all the following steps:

1. A healthy, low glucose diet, containing meat, beans, lentils, eggs, legumes, sweet potatoes, corn, most fruits and non-starchy vegetables is very important. Make portion control a habit in your life. Measure and weigh the food you take in every meal, read labels carefully, eat slowly, use smaller plates and avoid fast food and restaurants.

2. Insulin is the hormone that utilizes glucose and keeps sugar levels in the norm. In diabetes, insulin efficiency decreases, therefore regular exercise is very important because it increases insulin sensitivity and helps cells to pick up and use sugar more effectively.

3. Good hydration is also very important to keep blood sugar down.

4. Stress management is also very important, because stress increases the production of certain hormones that are responsible for blood sugar elevation. Exercise is a great relaxation tool that helps bring stress levels down.

5. Make sure you check you check your blood sugar daily while writing down the results on a diary. This will greatly help your doctor in adjusting your medication, and also you will also have a better idea on whether you are eating the right foods.

6. Apple cider vinegar has been shown to be very effective in reducing blood sugar levels, so make sure you include it in your diet.

7. Cinnamon is also a know sugar reducer. You make purchase it over the counter as Cinnamon Extract or include it in your diet regularly.

I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING YOU SAID.BUT I AM A TYPE2 DIABETIC.AND I TAKE STEGLATRO,METFORMIN,AND,GLUCOCIL PILLS AND USE CINNAMON IN COFFEE. NO INSLIN,WHAT YOU WOULD CALL BODERLINE, YOU BEEN SO HELPFUL, AND ON TARGET. THANK YOU.

Borderline or pre-diabetes is considered when blood sugar values are on or above the upper level of the norm.

You obviously are diagnosed with Diabetes and seem to be on the right medication.

Please implement all the advice I gave in the previous answer, especially writing down glucose readings on a daily basis. This will be very helpful to your doctor in order to make any dose adjustments if necessary.
