You may use an antidandruff shampoo e.g either 8x shampoo (contains ciclopirox olamine which is an effective molecule for dandruff) or protar K shampoo which is a coal tar and ketoconazole shampoo for more severe dandruff. These are medicated shampoos and require a prescription. I would like to tell you that resistant dandruff can also be a sign of some underlying skin conditions like psoriasis which can be known by doing a scalp examination. You can visit a dermatologist if your dandruff is very resistant to usual shampoos.

Hi.
You can check if you can get one of these over the counter from a nearby drug store. Its just a shampoo. Use the shampoo on alternate days. Massage it well on to wet scalp and allow it to act for 7-10minutes before rinsing it off. If your dandruff doesn't respond to even these then you may better visit a dermatologist in your vicinity to see if it is scalp psoriasis rather than just dandruff.
