Brief Answer:
No need to worry. Very good prognosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Febrile seizure is a very common occurrence in children below five years.
Chances of recurrence can be around 20 percent in what I have seen in my years of practice. But that is just a number which says about of 100 children less than 20 can get recurrence. But there is no way to find out whether your kid comes in that 20 percent.
Just to reassure you, there is very less chance of recurrence after 5 years and almost very rare after 6 years of age.
Prognosis is very good. More than 95 percent of these kids have normal brain development
Till then my advice
1. Paracetamol for fever
2. Frisium tablet as recommended in your discharge summary till fever settles.
3. Nasal spray as advised if seizure last more than 3 minutes.
Consult doctor for all fever episodes from day 1.
