Dear Doctor , I M 35 Male And I Am

Question: Dear Doctor ,
I m 35 male and I am really in need of ur advise.
My Skin tone is Fair.
Recently I have observed that my scroctum on right side and my inner groin area near testicles have become dark in colour. I can't make out whether it's a fungal infection or something else as I occasionally get itch and on my testicles there are 2 or 3 very small dark brown color boils They are very small and when I accidentally press it. It was a little blood. I don't know what they are.
Pls suggest

Brief Answer:
Angiokeratomas and intertrigo
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
The tiny bumps on the scrotum are angiokeratomas.
These are benign vascular lesions which are harmless.
You can leave them as such or consult a dermatologist and get them removed by electrocautery.
The rash in the groin area is intertrigo which is inflammation of the body folds due to friction and moisture.
I would recommend you to apply topical steroid anti fungal cream like clobetasol propionate and miconazole cream ( Tenovate M ) cream on the affected areas twice daily for 2 weeks along with frequent application of a powder in the groin area 2-3 times in a day.
Also take antihistaminic like tablet fexofenadine 180 mg once daily for 10 days.
These are prescription drugs and should be taken under the supervision of the doctor.
Also keep the area dry and clean, wear loose fitted cotton clothes and stay in cool airy environment.

Dear Doctor,
Thank you so much for perfect diagnosis and treatment suggested.
I will request you to kindly suggest me a cream for tight foreskin of penis. I presume it's phimosis and it's quite painful if I attempt to pull back my skin as if something is stuck inside the skin and not letting it to slide back. I have never been able to expose the glands due to the same.
I don't face problem with urination but sometimes it pains during intercourse. Thanks
Regards
Zubin

Brief Answer:
Could be a fungal infection, apply topical antifungal
Detailed Answer:
I have gone through your complaints and it could be a yeast infection.
I would recommend you to keep the area dry and clean and apply topical antifungal like clotrimazole or miconazole cream on the affected area twice daily for 7-10 days...
This should resolve your problem.
If it doesn’t improve in 5 days consult a doctor and get it retracted.
