Question: Dear Doctor, My mother is suffering from spondylolisthesis (we found it a month back as we consulted an Orthopaedic doctor online). He prescribed medicine but there is no relief. she is feeling pain even when she walks or stand. Could you please suggest if any back support/posture support belt helps her with pain relief. Any such suggestion helps her a lot. she is 54 years of age, height is 5'1 and weight 93kgs. I am attaching her Xray images for reference. Thank you, Raghav.

Sorry, You're images have not been linked to this question. Please contact Healthcare Magic team about it.

Your mother can wear Lumbar belt or brace. Avoid bending forwards or backwards. Avoid lifting heavy objects.

This should prevent further movement of the spine.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,

Aashish Raghu
