Question: Dear Doctor, Recently i was infected with Covid19 in October and got admitted to hospital (2 weeks back i got negative) as part of medication I was given Remdesivir for 5 days and medication course of Equilis and Medrol for a month. since i started taking these my eyes got blurred. Have difficulty in reading long distance words or even object, which i used to read earlier. Doctor said it will go away after i stopped medrol. i stopped medrol a week back still i have same problem. please suggest me if i can wait for few more weeks or should i visit Opthalmologist? note: i had lasik surgery done 9 years back and never had any problem. Thanks in advance! Raghav.

Hey thanks for the question .

You should visit the ophthalmologist and find out the real cause behind this . Medrol isn't gonna cause persistent vision blurring unless until a cataract has developed . With a new disease like corona where nobody knows its effect on the eyes and studies are still ongoing its better to visit the doctor and get the pathology rules out .
