Dear Doctor, Today All Of Sudden My Pain Started In

Question: Dear Doctor,
Today all of sudden my pain started in my Right side back and discomfort in my stomach .

This back pain is not Normal back pain in my view and not great pain also but later I’ve taken few medicines
Then it went off after sometime

After 30 mins I went to toilet , my urine is full of bloody urine And very bad smell which I never that kind of smell .
After 1 hour again I went to Toilet this time my urine is normal but smell is there .

Please suggest if this something serious

Thanks for the query.
The symptoms are more likely suggestive of urinary tract infection possibly secondary to stone disease.
An ultrasound abdomen and urine culture are required to make a diagnosis.
If there is any signs of infection, antibiotics must be taken.
As of now drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Bilateral renal Calculi

Right mild hydrouretronephrosis due to Proximal ureteric calculus

Right renal simple cortical cyst

Please let me know your opinion based on above results

Can you mention the size of the stones and the size of hydroureteronephrosis (AP diameter)?
In most cases, nonsurgical treatment will be enough.

As of now, drink plenty of water.

Hi,
I have gone through your reports.
The size of the stone is small(4mm) and it will probably pass through the urine. The hydroureteronephrosis(HUN) is also mild and conservative treatment will be enough.
Nothing much to worry and your treatment is in the right track. You can drotin-M when there is pain.
