Question: Dear Dr.

A person who is enduring peripheral neuropathy is told by everyone that it is important to find the cause because the proper treatment depends on the cause. However, finding that cause can quickly become a very complex adventure with multiple tests being taken over a period of many days. There may also, in addition, be many weeks of waiting time to get to the specialist who can order such tests.

In the meantime, the patient may well be experiencing annoying and randomly arriving stings of “pins and needles” and tingling at unpredictable parts of the body, leading to a significant rise in anxiety levels. The significant rise in anxiety levels soon becomes an intensifier of these symptoms.

What should be done to reduce the anxiety levels and to try to bring the symptoms down to an acceptable degree of annoyance while waiting for the tests to happen?

The only answer that I've seen in the medical literature and from a neurologist is that the person could take certain medications (“anxiolytic drugs” and/or non-prescription NSAIDs ) that tend to disrupt the passage of signals from the brain to other parts of the system and thus tend to inhibit the appearance of the symptoms.

In your opinion, is this taking of medications the only route available or recommended for achieving essential relief from pain and anxiety while the patient waits for tests to be conducted?

Brief Answer:
Opinion for Peripheral neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
I appreciate you for sharing your concern with us.
Peripheral neuropathy is the condition arises due to damage of Nerves.

What should be done to reduce the anxiety levels: Exercise proper diet and medication are the two best best possible ways to reduce the anxiety level. This will help to heal the nerve.

In my opinion other ways to cure the disease you may opt for are massage, acupuncture, chiropractic the impact may vary case to case.

Precaution you may take to get the relief
use shocks or cover body parts to increase the blood circulation

Though Medication (“anxiolytic drugs” and/or non-prescription NSAIDs ) are the best ways to treat the problem but you can also choose the other natural node of medication i.e. homeopathy, Medicine are safe to use and has no side effect.
You may start with
Arsenic alb 30 6 pills three times in a day
picric acid 30 6 pills three times in a day

take medicine for a month and then update
Hope thing are clear to understand and in case of any query feel free to ask

Thanks
