Question: Dear Dr.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and take Humira for it. My arthritis isn't a problem for me and I feel in excellent health. No infections, etc. I'm 71 years old. My question is, I want to give blood in a blood drive. Does having Rheumatoid arthritis or taking Humira have any effect on the quality or safety of my blood? That is, is it okay for me to donate or not?
