Question: Dear Dr. I was penetrated for the first time. I'm 32 and hymen broke as underwear was full of blood. After around a week I had my period. Now that period has finished I am seeing a little of brown blood in my underwear together with a little discharge. Is there a problem?

I read your query and here is my advice.

I think the brown spotting and the discharge may not be related to the first intercourse or breaking hymen. I think it may be related to any infection and I would recommend you to do a vaginal smear to check for infection.
Also it can be related to period irregularities due to any hormone imbalance and recent changes in your life may have contributed to it.
So I can recommend you to do a vaginal smear firstly then you can write me back about the results.
