Question: Dear Dr.

Since two days ago, I have very annoying and extreme itching in all my body.

I didn't use new clothes nor taking new food or medication at all.

The important notice is I don't have any kind of rash at all. Just itching look likes sharp itchy areas

Include all my body even head, Palm, back, legs, fingers,ears and all over my body.

I tried desloratidine systemically to relieve itching with no benefit

Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and it could be an allergic reaction.
It could be due to change in weather or due to due to dry skin.
I would recommend you to take antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg twice daily and apply moisturizing lotion containing white soft paraffin like moisturex soft cream on the entire body 2-3 times in a day for 7 days.
All stay in cool airy environment, avoid hot water for bathing , avoid harsh soaps, keep your body moisturised and wear loose clothes.
I hope these measures will help in resolving your problem.

For cetrizine .. Is it okay to take desloratidine instead ? Or cetrizine is better ? Cause I don't have citrizine right now . And for liquid paraffin we don't have it here in my country exactly, we have something instead. I attached the ingredients of it. Is it okay to use it?

Cetrizine is more efficacious.
If you don’t have cetrizine you can have tablet chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg twice daily or tablet desloratidine.
You can use any moisturizing lotion which suits your skin if don’t have liquid paraffin.

I took cetrizine once today and applied the lotion 3 times.

When should I see the difference?
I still have that itching which I can describe it by " sharp needle prick" occurs rapidly here and there like some one punch me with needle.
