Brief Answer:
Answer is given below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for uploading the report.
She seems to have diverticulosis.
This is normally seen in elderly individuals on the left side large intestine.
Diverticulosis is nothing but small outpouxhings in the wall of the intestine.
Decreased intake of fibers usually leads to it.
Most often it remains silent.
Sometimes it may get infected/inflamed causing abdominal pain and rarely it may bleed.
She has to take a high fiber diet (lots of vegetables and fruits), if needed fiber supplements and also drink enough fluids.
Having good bowel movements with adequate fiber intake is the treatment for diverticulosis.
Already formed diverticula will not disappear.
The treatment is just to prevent the worsening of the condition and prevent complications.

Dr.R.K
