Brief Answer:
Your son has poorly functioning scarred and atrophied Rt. kidney

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for query and uploading relevant reports.

Based on the Ultrasound and DMSA scan his Right kidney is scarred and atrophied due to repeated attacks of infection (Pyelonephritis) and is damaged due to Vesico Ureteric Reflux (VUR) and has resulted in poor function.
The damage caused is irreversible and can not be corrected.

He will have normal life with normally functioning Left kidney.

As regards poorly functioning Rt kidney it will further get atrophied and end into what is called as Auto Nephrectomy or may need to be removed if develops infection.

Hope I have answered your query, please feel free to ask if you have more questions, I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
