Let me assure that people / children with G6PD deficiency do absolutely well and lead a normal life. In other words, the prognosis is excellent. The only concern is that there would be a limitation to take certain foods and medications. Just google out for the list of things to be avoided for a person with G6PD deficiency and you will get the details. Avoid it and the child will lead an absolutely normal life. No medicines required.
