Question: Dear Sir/Madam

My aunt is 45 year old and she is suffering from fever for last 3 months.
Blood reports are attached. Her creatinine 0.7
Her haemoglobin is 6.6

1) Whether she is suffering multiple myeloma?
2) If yes what would be treatment plan and expenditure cost?
3) How long she will survive?
Please reply.

Thanks for your query.

Hb of 6.6 with presence of M band suggests myeloma. However, this should be clinically correlated.

Considering her age of only 45 years, aggressive induction therapy with anti-myeloma drugs followed by autologous stem cell transplatation is required.

For predicting survival, we need many more information like serum beta2 microglobulin, LDH, Bone marrow cytogenetics and FISH studies, etc. But nowadays, most myeloma patients survive >3 years and many>5 years if appropriate treatment is provided.

I would suggest you to consult any medical/hemato-oncologist to complete the evaluation and start treatment.
