Detailed Answer:
hello thanks for the question. Primary glaucomas are common in diabetics and have pretty much the same prognosis as in normal population aka they will need life long treatment with some sort of drops which lower the eye pressure . Another subset called neovascular glaucoma can develop in diabetic population if you develop retinal problems . For that you need to get your retina checked every 6 months with a well qualified ophthalmologist. Hope my answer helps you. Regards . if you have any follow up please ask me .
