Dear Whomever Answers, I Have Been On The Birth Control

Question: Dear whomever answers,
I have been on the birth control Yaz for a month after switching from Islbloom. Instead of getting my usual period on the inactive pills, I've only had light spotting. I know that spotting instead of getting your period is a common side effect of switching birth controls, but from what I've read many women have gotten pregnant while on Yaz. Should I be concerned?
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy is unlikely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
As you said minor spotting is common while switching birth control pills.
Both yaz and isibloom are effective contraceptive pills with very low failure rate.
Pregnancy is very unlikely and you can go for a urine pregnancy test(UPT) to confirm whether you are pregnant or not.
thanks
