
Deep Breathing Causes Pain In Diaphragm/lung/left Below Rib Area. Recently

Question: Deep breathing causes pain in diaphragm/lung/left below rib area. Recently treated for allergy-triggered congestion/asthma with Azithromycin (3 pills left). Have gallstones. Pain ease somewhat in A.M. after BM. What could this be?

I can understand your concern
According to the history you prescribe if the result of chest is ray is normal than it should be better to do an abdominal ultrasound.Sometimes the pain due to gallbladder may be feel on the left side or intestinal gases migh cause this concern.
So if the trip is 2-3 days you can continue Advil and when come back to contact your doctor for the ultrasound.If it is longer than you should think about it according to the intensity of the pain.
