Dents On The Forehead. What Could Have Caused This?

Question: Hi, a dents appeared on my forehead about the size of a 50p it's as if its sunk. Any ideas what this is?

Ok I will upload a photo now, it's just to the left centre of my forehead it's about half a centre metre deep.

According to me you are suffering from morphea.

It is a condition in which the subcutaneous tissue as well as muscle gets fibrosed and becomes depressed.

It is a progressive condition.

It needs treatment with steroids, please XXXXXXX a dermatologist as soon as possible.

I have looked up morphea and that seems to be a skin condition the hole on forehead is in the bone/my skull??

Kindly look for deep morphea, to be more specific search for " En coup De Sabre". you will come to know what I meant to say.

Are there any dangers associated with this disease and what are the treatments?

It is usually a localised disease and wont spread much, but treatment is needed to prevent further progession, if any.

It is treated with oral steroids, please XXXXXXX a dermatologist, as steroids are prescription drugs and also the diagnosis needs to be confirmed, with biopsy.
