Deratology Dr Has Me On 60mg Predisone /day For Bullouspamphogoid

Question: Deratology Dr has me on 60mg predisone /day for bullouspamphogoid . Last 3days have black stools. Peeling skin on non affected areas. Hands feet tingle hard at t!message.intracranial pressure has increased. Hearing volume high and low. Contacted derm Dr and told to drink more water and take metamuscil. Not constipated. What do you suggest?

I have gone through your complaints.
High dose of steroids can lead to black stools as well as raised intracranial pressure.
Black stools indicate bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract for which steroids is a cause.
I would recommend you to stop tablet prednisone and go for stool examination to rule out blood in stools.
Also consult an emergency care doctor and get yourself evaluated.
