Diabetic. Taking Iron Pills. Suggest Diet?

Question: hi I got diagnose with diabetes last firday it was 300 n im also anemic 9.5 I got iron pills n meds for my sugar but I cant seem to balance my sugar cause if I eat for my iron my sugar goes up what should my plan be?
