Yes, Tamsulosin (Flomax) is a drug of choice for urinary incontinence and urinary blockage. It can increase the urinary flow. But important is that it must be prescribed by a Urologist or a Primary care physician.
It should not be taken by your own without proper evaluation by a doctor. Flomax is given in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia in which males have difficulty urinating as there is obstruction to the outflow of urine. Reason is enlargement of Prostate gland that causes urinary bladder outlet obstruction.
Also BPH is not a condition which shows up in young age group , so that is also needed to be evaluated after thorough physical examination by your Urologist/physician .
If your urine culture and blood work is negative, then I don't think you should take Azithromycin and Methylprednisolone as these are good for proven infections on blood work and/or urine cultures. Please consult your Physician for the same.
Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts.
