Do Denosumab Shots Taken For Osteoporosis Affect The Muscles?
Question: Hello
Sorry to mark urgent but
I have parkinsons and osteoporosis , also coeliac. And anaemia , milk intolerant .
Late today I received a letter to attend hospital we'd 1 XXXXXXX re osteoporosis. , the neurologist suggests denosumab .injection.
Looking on line it can affect muscles.
I am concerned it could make parkinsons worse , stiffer muscles?
Also I am coeliac and sucrose fructose intolerant should not have this ?

Well looking into your problem I will like to tell you that , although I don't think denosumab is going to harm you in the ways , you are thinking but still if you have your concerns you can talk to your doctor regarding taking injection zoledronic acid once a year or alendronate . They are also good drugs for controlling osteoporosis . But still ultimate choice lies with your doctor .
