Do Gynacet And Divery Have Any Adverse Effects During Pregnancy?

default
Posted on Mon, 31 Aug 2015
Question: July 05, 2015 was the expected date of my periods.
After having delayed periods for 10 days, the doctor prescribed Gynacet tablets of 5mg each, which I took 6 tablets in 2 days.
Later on July 23, 2015, doctor prescribed Divery tablets of 10mg, which I took 10 tablets in 5 days.
Today, in pregnancy test, I got to know that I am pregnant.
Please tell me, whether the drug contained in these medicines would have any affect on the baby, as I am 1 month pregnant today.

Brief Answer:
Get an ultrasound at the earliest

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
These medicines are best avoided in pregnancy but ever since you taken them already and only for a short duration there is nothing to worry.
Get an ultrasound for fetal age assessment and wellbeing and hope everything will be fine.
Take care
