Question: Do I have post nasal drip? I wanna know if it’s good for me to take allergy medicine, but I dont know if I have post nasal drip. It feels like I do in my throat, does it look like it? Also what’s the best treatment? Thank you.

Hii. It's seems that your posterior pharyngeal wall or back of the throat is congested. There is no obvious post nasal drip seen in the picture. This congestion is mainly due to allergy. If you are feeling some hawking sensation of throat, nasal blockage, sneezing, rhinorrhoea or throat irritation then you are having allergic rhinitis. This allergic rhinitis can cause post nasal drip and pharyngitis. You can consult an Ent surgeon. You can start nasoclear nose drops to clear the mucus. Take steam inhalation and betadine gargle. You can start some anti allergic tablet.
