Do I Insert An Antibiotic Capsule Or Use The Cream Odor After The Removal Of Tampon ?

Question: I just removed a tampon that was left in from Friday, today is Sunday. I used a tampon earlier today before I found the old one. I had an odor the pass couple days. I still have an odor after the removal. Do I insert an antibiotic capsule or use the cream
Brief Answer:
Yes,
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Tampons left for long can lead to fungal infection, which can present with bad odor or whitish or greenish discharge.
It is best for you to insert a fluconazole vagisert for now. This can clear the infection or prevent one. If left unchecked it can cause severe vaginitis which last for days to weeks.
Also, you can use apple cider vinegar well diluted or a V-wash for better hygiene. This to an extent clears the infection if it has started already.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
