Do I Need To Take Vitamin K To Manage Seizure Like Sensations While Taking A Hot Water Bath?

When I take a shower, if I let the hot water flow from my back, sometimes I feel a bit strange. I do not know how I can describe it. The feeling is just like being chilled in cold [a seizure?]. But this feeling was usually going away in a short time. In the recent few years, if the feeling did not reach its peak within the shower, I feel it coming when, for instance, I am having lunch or in the middle of a meeting when my brain partially stops working - I can see and hear, but I cannot answer. I had the very last one two days ago, where I was having those chilling seizures waking me up during sleep and, in the morning, I saw petechiae around the eye that is on the side that I slept on. The petechiae are getting better now, but I still have joint pain, which feels more like muscle soreness. Do I need to take Vitamin K? What is going on? I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
Probably epileptic seizures, follow the advice below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your symptoms seem to be related to a neurological disorder, probably epileptic seizures. Petechial eruptions are caused by this seizures. They tend to be caused by capillary bleeding.
There are several examinations that should be done to confirm the diagnosis. The most important examination is electroencephalogram (EEG).
Other examinations are:
- A neurological exam,
- Blood tests and
- MRI for further evaluation.
Treatment consists of antiepileptic medication which is prescribed medication given by the neurologist. In my opinion, you can treat the petechias with vitamin K cream local application.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
