Brief Answer:
it's not certain

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

It is not well documented whether Kalms may cause liver damage or not. There are many 'Kalms' formulations. Most of them have valerian root as their main ingredient. Valerian is not a drug, so its effects are not very well documented. There are warnings about potential liver damage though.

If you do use one of these products make sure you notify your doctor about any new symptom including any of the following: clay-colored stool, urine resembling of cognac (dark brown), right upper quadrant abdominal pain, yellow discoloration of the eyes or the skin.

I hope my answer helped you understand this product a little more. Please let me know if you need more information or any clarification.
Regards
