Do Mellaril, Stelazine And Lithium Shunt Growth?
Question: at age 18 I was placed on mellaril for 3 months and then I was taken off of that and placed on stelazine for 3 months to treat an anxiety disorder. finally I was placed on lithium alone for 5 months. I was wondering if these medications could have stunted my growth. I was a late maturing male. I am currently 6 feet tall -my father was 5-11 and my mother was 5-9. I should not be worrying about this now but I was wondering about it.
I was on the lowest doses of these medicines also
