Do A Vague Pregnancy Result And A Negative Result A Few Hours Apart Mean I Am Not Pregnant?
Question: Today is my day of missed periods. Yesterday night I took test by velocity. It showed one dark and one light line but a few hours later. Today I took again by preganews but it showed negative. Am I not pregnant?

You can repeat UPT again on May 5th. As your last date was March 28th, we have to wait till April 28 to 30. Even for a blood test.

Sorry for the delay in answering.
It is not positive. beta hCG more than 25 mIU is suggestive of positive pregnancy and also it will peak after 8 to 11 weeks from your last period. For a more definite confirmation, you can get a USG abdomen after 2 weeks to look for gestational sac. For any test to be accurately positive you have to wait another 2 weeks. You should be at least 5 to 6 weeks from your last period for the tests to be accurate. I would suggest you repeat the UPT after 1 to 2 weeks.
