Do Abdominal Scars Stretch During Pregnancy?

Question: Good evening doctor..I'm Liya 23 years old.I had an infected appendix open surgery at 3rd std.it is on the right side of the navel.Now there is no skin growth and there is a visible gap above and below the scar.i'm totally tensed about pregnancy period.is it possible for me?

Open Appendicectomy scar done at younger age doesn't pose any problems for pregnancy.
Though skin has not fully formed, it stretches naturally during pregnancy.
For example, a big scar is formed after Caesarean section for delivery of the baby .She can get pregnant and deliver another baby even after Caesarean surgery.
So,nothing to worry.

Pregnancy doesn't depend on the skin scars.
It depends on the Uterus,Fallopian tubes and Ovaries. If they are normal, Pregnancy is possible.
Your husband's sperm count should be normal in count and motility .
