Brief Answer:
No radiation would be same.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
No basically a CT scan is just X Ray beam rotated through 360 degree angle to capture images along different angles...So Radiation would be same sir with all CT scan machine...Only difference is that 16 slice machine would take image along less angles compared to a 125 slice machine...But exposure to radiation(X rays) in both would be same.
The more slices the machine gives the more detailed would be information...Every CT centre has the number of slices written there at there office.
Thanks you!

Detailed Answer:
Hi again
See sir basic principle behind every CT scan machine is that it uses X rays and revolve it in 360 degrees and take multiple images at different angle...Now with Advent of technology may be some machines may use a little bit small amount of rays as compared to other but difference can't be very significant as however evolved a machine may be but the principle behind it is the same "Use x rays at various angles".....
What is GE?
