Question: Do all catscan machines machines use the same level if radiation.??? I need to have an abdominal /pelvis catscan. With iral conteast. One location says they a GE Revolution that has least radiation. Is the Revelution ars a lot better with less radiation ? How do i find out how much radiation is used. ? XXXXXXX

Every machine is enabled with radiation dose optimization and GE revolution also has the ability to utilize minimum dose of radiation during a scan. For practical purposes the CT scan machines will display an approximate dose of radiation used at the end of the scan and this is accounting for the part scanned and the technical factors employed during the scan.
