Do Chest Pain, Breathlessness And Dizziness Indicate A Cardiac Problem?
Question: I'm a 33 year old male.
Chest pain around the breast bones since 11 months. Occasionally the pain comes from the centre of the chest. Very occasionally the pain radiated to my arms. Did my ecg, 2d echo, stress test, troponin in Jan'17 following severe palpitations. All tests normal. Hv been seeking physiotherapy. The muscle strain has released but the pain still persists. Sometimes feel difficulty breathing, slight dizziness, slight heaviness in chest. Feel pain at left breastbone after climbing stairs. Cardiologists said it's not a cardiac problem. Need your advice.

Hello
After going through the medical details provided by you I would like to tell you that as all your basics cardiac tests came out to be normal so it's highly unlikely to have any cardiac problem and your treating cardiologist is telling right.
You need to ask yourself if something is bothering you or some stress is there as these symptoms can very well be due to apprehension or anxiety.
Also it's advisable to start doing yoga and meditation as it will help boost your immune system and also combat stress.
I hope this will be helpful

Hello sir,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I'm anxiety prone. My friend in his early 30s passed away from a heart attack last year. I have come across a few more cases of heart disease at young age. So felt like making sure I'm currently not at any risk.
Thank you
