Do Colon Cleansers Induce Diarrhea?
Question: Since I started taking colon cleansers and 2000mg of concentrated garlic gel caps a few days ago, I feel movement sensation in my anus. What is this? I am on my period too. I also have been taking live culture and probiotics daily.
Brief Answer:
It can be due to gastric irritants
Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!
The colon cleansers acts by irritating the gut musosa to induce diarrhea, rather than acting as stool softeners. Since you have used them recently, it could have triggered peristaltic movements until these are not fully cleared out or there effects remain for a while. You can wait for few days and it will settle spontaneously.
Use adsorbents like ispaghol husk if still you are feeling trouble with its aftermyths. Drink alots of fluids and fibres. Eat healthy and stay healthy.
Hoping you a speedy recovery. If you dont have any more questions, please close the discussion. Regards.
