Brief Answer:
Please monitor the situation.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Usually in XXXXXXX type 2 patients with the normalization of the cortisol, the eosinophils normalise too.

However, in some cases, it may take some time. The most important thing in such cases is that they should be decreasing with the passing of the time.

So monitor the last lab tests and see how much are the eosinophils?

I don't think this is dangerous but should be monitored.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It's not the point if it's dangerous or not. The point is what is the cause. If you have stopped the hydrocortisone probably it is the cause. If not then better to do a chest X-Ray to evaluate the lungs for probably an infection.

However, please discuss with your doctor because he knows better your actual clinical situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
