Do Homeopathic Vaccinations Help In Treating Autism Spectrum Disorder In A Child?

default
Posted on Tue, 6 Sep 2016
Question: I have a 7 year old son on the autism spectrum. It started at 18 months about three days after receiving a vaccination. We live in the New XXXXXXX area and our pediatrician recommended us to a doctor in westchester who was providing homeopathic vaccinations because they don't cause further complications with autism. We were traveling all the way to the doctor in westchester who provided these vaccinations. Since this doctor is not a pediatrician a higher authority threatened to shut him down because he is not a pediatrician and is therefore not allowed to provide any vaccinations anymore. I am desparate to find another doctor who provides these homeopathic vaccinations but it's tough because these doctors don't outright advertise that they offer these vaccines. We are currently able to get the flu vaccine from this doctor but that is it as of now. Can you please recommend a doctor either in the XXXXXXX or New York area who provides these special vaccines. I am willing to travel even to westchester, Long Island, XXXXXXX queens, states island or XXXXXXX to get these vaccinations if there is someone you van recommend. My son is doing so much better now and I don't want to chance it by using conventional vaccinations. I would be appreciative if you could provide any doctors that use these homeopathic vaccinations. My email is YYYY@YYYY .

Brief Answer:
The foundations of the disease need to be laid long before the symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. I understand that you noted the autistic features just after he got a vaccination. But let me assure you that these two have no connections between the two. Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are neurodevelopmental disorders and are related to the underlying neural connections being laid down. So, the foundations need to have been long before the symptoms were noticed. That cannot be in just a 3 days' time.

Vaccinations are vaccinations. I do not understand what 'homeopathic' vaccinations are. The question is whether they have undergone the extensive clinical trials and research that goes in to establish whether they are effective and safe.

I would strongly advise against their use.

I am therefore skipping your request for reference to a suitable doctor in XXXXXXX If you still need assistance, feel free to write back.

I would like to refer this question to a homeopathic doctor. I understand many mainstream doctors do not believe in homeopathy. I have been sick my entire life with medical conditions and am living proof they do work. I know these vaccinations exist but very few doctors know about them because they are not widely talked about. My pediatrician is a regular MD and has done wonders for autistic kids with methods I'm sure you are most likely familiar with. These vaccinations do exist because the doctor I was using used to be able to get them. My child's pediatrician as well are aware they exist but unfortunately he only knew of this one doctor who provided these vaccines. Unfortunately he was threatened to be shut down bc the medical and pharmaceutical companies make so much money off regular vaccinations. I have also found people online who were able to order these vaccines from other countries but unfortunately they did not have an email address online. I mean you no disrespect but we both have different opinions on the subject. I would really appreciate if a homeopathic doctor can please read my question and see what they think. I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions especially in the medical field. I am not a doctor but have been a patient my entire life and happen to work in the medical field as well. I saw some amazing things happen with Ayurveda and other homeopathic remedies. I wouldn't be alive right now if it weren't for my Ayurveda doctor who happens to be very well known in XXXXXXX I'm sure you must be aware in XXXXXXX while they have the option to go to a westernized medical school they also have Ayurveda medical schools. It's unfortunate that they are not considered doctors in our country. My pediatrician is very well known and practices both western and eastern medicine. He actually has a two year waiting list to become his patient right now. He has been on many talk shows and is very well respected. I would really appreciate if you can pass my question on to a homeopathic doctor. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and give your opinion.

Sincerely, XXXXXXX Levine

Brief Answer:
List of doctors mentioned for you to choose from

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back and for clarifying. Let me state that I do not have anything against homeopathy. As in any branch of medicine, external principles (like medicines) are used and these cause internal changes. These changes may be favorable or unfavorable. Extensive research is needed to establish the safety and efficacy. Such research is lacking in homeopathy. Some of the medicines definitely work, but not all. If you want to take the risk, feel free to go ahead. You can get assistance from the following homeopathic doctors:

1) Dr. XXXXXXX Schlachter 228 Roseland Ave Essex Fells, NJ 07021 973-226-8393

2) Auletta XXXXXXX MD 23 South Main Street # 25 Manville, NJ 08835-1801 (908) 243-0088 I live in cetnral NJ and this is my family doctor-almost 90% of her patients are family with vaccine free children.

3) Pediatric Associates in Neptune NJ.

4) Dr. Fisch in Oradell NJ

5) South NJ area: Haddon Pediatric Group (Dr. Schlitt- not sure which one, there are three). Accept Non vaccinated babies and children without problem. They have offices in Mullica Hill and Haddon Heights. http://www.advocaredoctors.com

6) There is a really good doctor in Hillsborough NJ that accepts unvaccinated kids and respects being vaccine free her name is Dr Li Jiang and the clinic is Hills Pediatrics 908 725 0875

7) Oradell -Dr Rosen of the Whope Child Center

8) Hackettstown, XXXXXXX County. Dr. Chi.

I would be glad to pass you over to the above mentioned doctors. In case you still need further assistance, I am just a click away.

Thank you very much. I am very interested in what these doctors have to say. I am trying to get information from all types of doctors because I feel it is of great concern to not have your child fully vaccinated but I am also interested in what any of these doctors have to say. Thank you very much for the recommendations. I greatly appreciate it.

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back again. I understand what you are trying to do. But you must also understand that not all sources of information contain equal degree of validity. The validation needs to be obtained painstakingly through research. Those who do not bother to indulge in research, perhaps you should take their claims with a pinch of salt. You can choose to learn from professors or from any random person, but the dependability would not be same. That does not mean that whatever that the random person says, is wrong.

I hope you understand.
