Brief Answer:
Most possible Diagnosis:Gout

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern

Acute onset pain and swelling of big toe without history of trauma.could most possibly be due to gout .
Other possibilities include infection, pseudo gout etc.
An Xray of the foot, needle aspiration and analysis of joint fluid ,blood investigations are required to confirm the diagnosis.

Please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider for further evaluation and management

Meanwhile, you can apply ice, take rest and take Ibuprofen 400 mg up to 4 times daily to reduce pain and inflammation.
