Brief Answer:
Presentation is that of classical ITP, bone marrow examination suggested.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
The prescription form posted by you shows that there is history of fever, joint pain and generalized weakness from 1 month.
This is accompanied by low platelets.
This is characteristic presentation of immune / idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP).
Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy have been suggested for cytogenetics. Cytogenetics is an investigation in which any abnormality in chromosomes is detected.
However, for practical purposes viral infection is most common cause of ITP.
A history of fever, joint pains and generalized weakness is supportive of viral infection.
This kind of ITP is called acute onset ITP and usually resolves spontaneously with supportive therapy and immunoglobulins.
A follow up for platelets and immature platelet fraction is required to see for improvement in platelet count.
Alcohol has no direct relation with IPT but consumption of alcohol should be prohibited till full recovery occurs.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.

Thanks and take care
