Do Vomiting And Diarrhea After Drinking Lizol Require Medical Attention?
Question: I have taken lizol as i felt emotional.. What should i eat and drink to get back to normal. Now im suffering with vomet and loose motions

active ingredients used in Lysol includes,Ethanol/SD Alcohol 1–3%, Isopropyl alcohol, 1–2%. Hence they are responsible for vomiting and loose motions, however there is no need to worry as they are not life threatening but toxic to an extent, since there are no associated neurological symptoms, you might have consumed less quantity as well.
Since there is severe gastric irritation as a result of mucosal damage, you are having above said symptoms.
Hence I advice you to take proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole 40mg for 10 days along with soft diet avoiding spices, non vegetarian and alcoholic beverage consumption.
However, i strongly recommend you to visit a psychitrist and have therepy session to share and discuss your issues.

Those symptoms are due to damage of outer layer of mucosa. so healing will take its time, meanwhile you can take syp gelusil to reduce throat burning along with above mentioned instructions in my last reply. Thus, all the symptoms will gradually subside. wishing good health.
