Do We Need To Worry If Patient Is Stable With Oxygen Support?

1. I have a friend who recently underwent emergency surgery to remove her appendix; she is approximately 40 year of age.
2. when she woke up, she insisted on an x-ray and CT due to breathing difficulties;
3. based upon the diagnostics, it was discovered that she has a blood clot in her lung and in her arm;
4. the hospital has put her on blood thinners and provided her with an oxygen tank; they want to release her from the hospital tomorrow in this condition.
5. do you believe her release from the hospital is prudent? is there any risk to her leaving the hospital in this condition ?
