Question: I had a pretty bad case of acid reflux. I now have a dry cough and i wheeze when i talk. I have started taking two Previcid tablets daily, since yesterday. I am also drinking Aloe and apple cider vinegar a few times a day. Do yo think the acid reflux could have caused the the inflammation in my esophagus and dry cough? After taking the Previcid it appears to be getting a bit better.
Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
Yes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
Have seen your details,
Yes reflux of acid back into esophagus burns the soft mucosal layer of esophagus causing inflammation.
Inflammation along the length of mucosa is the cause of your problem.
If possible add Domstal 30 mg(Domperidone) to the medicine you are having for a fast relief.
Thank you!
