Question: Hi - I have 10% Diclo cream for my knees - it works well
- does it have side effects - should I try to avoid using it unless my knees are really bad - or should I use it whenever they are bothering me?

- do you think voodoo wraps are helpful (rubber compression wraps) ?

- do you recommend Ice or Heat

thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query

Diclo gel is useful for treating pain due to arthritis. Side effects may include local burning sensation, rarely an effect on the stomach lining to cause acidity and gastritis. It’s advisable to take Paracetamol 1g upto 4 times a day if not allergic. Apply warm packs on the knees. Compression straps may offer temporary relief but won’t treat the cause. Knee brace may be helpful.

I hope I have answered your query.
